Bob and phil if you want to continue the legacy of the dead in the most appropriate of manners then you have to let john sing the jerry tunes. You guys cannot and should not be singing dark star, I know you rider and sugaree etc... We know jerry is gone but his energy and legend lives on and in order for your most loyal and dedicated troops to rally around your music and efforts you have to let john play and give back what he has worked long and hard for. You have your songs and if you play them then things will continue to roll along and your fan base will grow and the legend will continue to grow but I know that if john is relegated to the back then we will slowly lose hope and our energy will fizzle. Let him continue where jerry left off. Please let him sing all the jerry songs. It will always be your band but we need to here him! They did the line swapping on Touch of grey, with Bobby and john alternating lines, and it really for the first time, to me, felt like a duet and not just a gimmick. Lovin this band.
