Though the Pepsi Center wasn’t the ideal place in Denver to see The Dead, the staff working the event were pretty cool, no pat-downs on the way in, and they gently moved you on if dancing in the walkways.

My seat was the highest, farthest possible from the stage seat in the Pepsi Center. When “Feel Like a Stranger” started, I realized I needed to move. I didn’t pay $70 to not be able to see or hear the band, so I ditched my friends and went on a tour dancing around wherever I could. The best place I found was on the main level (a doorway not guarded by a staffer) on Warren’s side slightly behind the band. It was really close so you could see the guys and there happened to be a huge speaker stack pointed at my face :)

Highlights for me in the first set were the “Easy Wind” and “Crazy Fingers”. The second set started off with that sweet-sounding acoustic quartet. “Me and My Uncle” was great (well I’m as honest as a Denver man can be) and “The Weight” sounded really nice. “Ramble on Rose” later in the set turned out well and the “Ripple” encore was about as good as you could ask for.

All in all, good vibes from the band and crowd. Very enjoyable show.

I agree with Brian this show was not only full of chill vibes but the music that literaly changed my soal. I was lucky to be in the 12th row and loved every ecstsy giveing moment. “Whisky In The Jar” was also a kind tribute to uncle Jerry. This show was life giveing.
