The Dead continue on with their tour for a 3rd night in the fine city of Charlottesville, VA to play at the John Paul Jones Arena at the University of Virginia. Another monster of a setlist last night in DC and the boys seem to be hitting their groove real hard. Major staples of the Grateful Dead sets such as Scarlet->Fire or China->Rider have yet to rear their heads so be on the look out for them and a few other surprises.
The weather in Charlottesville today calls for showers and a showtime temp of 50°. Next week’s Buffalo is also calling for rain. Boooo.
Good tickets are still available at the JPJ’s Musictoday website. The best tickets (in the 300 section currently) are just $73 tickets which is $25 less than most venues on this tour. Is that a price drop??

I was great to be at the show. They really sounded great. I hope to get tickets for Philly to see them one more.
