The Dead sent out their first text message on Wednesday to let everyone know that new videos have been added to their tour page and I have to say, it’s starting to get real and exciting!
There’s a video from the Inauguration and 2 from rehearsals for the tour. The band really seems to be getting along and the energy is very high. Not sure what I think about Phil’s new(?) bass but the lights on the fret board will look great on stage!

Phil has had that bass for at least a couple of years, and I agree the blue LED fret markers are awesome!

Actually, Phil introduced that bass in the late spring/summer of 2008. I remember seeing it for the first time in Rochester over the summer and thinking, “wow, that’s pretty trippy”
