As tipped here back in September, the Dead officially announced this morning that they are indeed going on tour in April for a run of 19 shows, mostly on the East Coast.

The band will be joined by Jeff Chimenti and Warren Haynes, naturally.
Presale for tickets begins Tuesday, January 13th with general public sales happening Friday, January 23rd.
