Filmmaker Steve Hulburt has posted the GDH Trading group about a fascinating trio of YouTube videos he created at the recent Change Rocks concert that the Dead played in Pennsylvania. The premise is that he would ask a large group of deadheads what certain lyrics mean and you can only imagine the different interpretations he received.

This is a very well done mini-documentary and it not only shows the diverse fanbase the band has but is also an excellent use of the technology available to all of us to tell our story.

Below is part 1 Roll Away the Dew and having read Hunter’s notes, I’ve always found the story about the liberty bell and the process of “rolling away the dew” to be very interesting. But imagine if you had a literal translation of all of the Hunter’s lyrics, would be pretty boring.
