“Jam” Artists Talk About Their Dead Influences

Ulitmiate-Guitar.com has a short-but-sweet write up from a few of the Jam genre’s biggest artists and bands. Head on over to read quotes from the likes of Keller Williams, Umphrey’s McGee, Railroad Earth, Hot Buttered Rum and (Buffalo’s own) Vinnie Amico of moe.

There’s not much meat in these short quotes but it does put in to words what many bands feel about the Grateful Dead’s influence on their craft and the business of music.

As a side note, Sirius has been playing a lot of live Keller Williams recently doing his unique brand of Dead covers. I have to say that I absolutely love his style – do you agree? Let me know in the comments!
