Taper’s Section – David Lemieux – 9/29 – 10/5/08

David Lemieux has posted this week’s Taper’s Section blog over at dead.net. This week, the Grateful Dead archivist digs deep to pull up nuggets including a lengthy chunk of a great show from Santa Rosa, CA in 1969 as well as a New Speedway Boogie from Calgary in 1970 and an otherworldly Dark Star->Eyes->China Doll from Portland in 1973.

Rounding out the report this week are extended chuncks including one from 1976 with a monster of a second set featuring St. Stephen->NFA->Wharf Rat->NFA->St. Stephen->Around and Around from Columbus, OH and lastly a nice Stranger->Franklin’s->Samson from The Warfield.

Be sure to check out David’s section on Dead.net every week and daily on Sirius Radio for his “Today in Grateful Dead History” segment.
