Paul Liberatore at the Marin Independen Journal has a great write up about an upcoming auction entitled “More Skeletons from the Closet”at Bonhams Auction House beginning October 5th. This auction will feature items from Dead members and extended family including Ramrod, Pigpen and Vince Welnick.

This is actually a sequel to the first Dead auction at Bonhams where a 1975 Travis Bean guitar belonging to Jerry Garcia sold for $300k to an anonymous bidder that definitely was not me.

If you’re interested in checking out Vince’s stash box before it goes on sale, the items up for auction are open for public viewing beginning October 2nd at Bonhams in San Francisco.
